At Belgotex, we appreciate the allure of wooden aesthetics, but we also recognise the need to preserve nature and to provide cost-effective solutions. To this end, we've launched Portland, a resilient vinyl plank that flawlessly mimics the look and texture of wood. Portland features an authentic wood grain texture with straight, curly, or wavy grain patterns. The occasional band-sawn effect further enhances its natural charm, adding a sense of depth and warmth. Portland is specially designed for heavy residential use. The dry back (stick down) installation method ensures a firm and stable flooring. With an overall thickness of 2mm and a wear layer thickness of 0.3mm, these planks are built to last. Each plank measures 1516.9mm x 228.6mm (l x w). Each box, covering an area of 4.16sqm, contains 12 planks. Portland has passed VOC testing and is Global GreenTag certified, thus reflecting our commitment to environmental sustainability. Portland boasts several impressive features, including stain and chemical resistance (EN 26987), a fire index rating of Bfl-s1 (EN13501), and slip resistance of DS-R10 (DIN 51130). It has a residual indentation of less than 0.1mm (EN 24343-1), a thermal conductivity of 0.074 W/m*K (EN 12664), and a thermal resistance of 0.028 (m2K) / W (EN 12664). Its excellent electrostatic behaviour is rated at 0.1 kV (EN 1815 Method A), and it provides dimensional stability of ±0.25% (EN ISO 2399). Portland has a colour fastness rating of > 6 Grade (ISO 105-B02) and can absorb sound up to approximately 3dB (EN 10140). It is suitable for use with castor chairs, but soft non-staining wheels are recommended. The Portland range is available in natural hues such as Bark, Bole, Bough, Fell, Gnarl, Knot, and Mill. Each box contains 2mm heavy residential dry back stick down LVT, measuring 1516.9mm x 228.6mm (l x w) with a 0.3 mm wear layer. It comes with a 15-year residential warranty and a 7-year commercial warranty. The product should be installed in line with the SANS 10070 fitting code of practice.
